The Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Munich represents the interests of the Slovak Republic in the German Federal States of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland and is involved in the implementation of the foreign and economic policy objectives with regard to the development of bilateral relations between Slovakia and the above mentioned German federal states. In accordance with the Vienna Agreement on Consular Relations the Consulate General also offers some services to the citizens of the Slovak Republic living or sojourning in the above mentioned German federal states. Further tasks of the Consulate General in the area of economy and trade: - providing Slovak companies with information about the local market and cooperation partners, - providing support for Slovak companies with specific business interests in the local market, - creating plattforms for business cooperation between local and Slovak companies, - organising promotional activities and events, - helping to attract direct foreign investments into the Slovak Republic.
